People call me (Nancy) “Madam.” I’m not too sure I like that. It makes me feel like the queen of England and just as old. Also, a “madam” in the USA is associated with a less than honorable reputation. Yeah, not loving that title!
Sign on a reception hall – “Medium Function Hall.” Does that indicate the size, the cost or the quality, or all of the above.
