NAME
Wicca, or wikke, is an old Anglo-Saxon word that is the origin of two better-known English words, wicked and witch.

AUTHORITY
Wicca believes you can do what you want as long as you don’t hurt anyone else. There is no absolute authority (Bible not inspired)
Similar to humanism and New Age today

VIEW of GOD
The existence of a supreme divine power known as “The One,” or “The All” The All” is not separate from the universe, but part of it. That from “The All” came the god and goddess. Male god or divine principle is a horned god, the god of the hunt. Female goddess or divine principle is the Moon Goddess, the maiden. Females are especially important since they bring forth new life (babies)
This ‘god’ is manifested in various ways in the universe, including the deity indwelling each person alive. Nature is worshipped for it also is ‘god.’

VIEW of the TRINITY, HOLY SPIRIT
No such thing

VIEW of CHRIST
Not God any more than any of us are god

VIEW of SATAN
No such thing, don’t worship Satan
But the power they find and tap into is from Satan and demons even if they don’t recognize it as such
Wicca is not Satanism – no blood sacrifices, orgies, etc.
Use white (good) magic, not black magic

VIEW of SIN
No such thing as sin, no absolutes to break, nothing is ‘wrong’ unless it hurts another.

VIEW of SALVATION
No need of salvation because nothing to be saved from. There are many ways to recognize god, so any religion can be a path to god.

VIEW of HEAVEN & HELL
They believe in reincarnation and karma, no heaven or hell.
